Little Roy

Little Roy is still in the notebook so the image is a bit distorted. You can click on the image to see a larger image. This is a sample of my freehand drawings. I particularly enjoy drawing whimsical pictures of kids and animals.

Indian Nymph

The Native Americans have always fascinated me. In this drawing I hoped to capture the peace and beauty that we all hope to find. Being a young girl growing up some on a reservation in Skip Rock, I learned many good things that us as a country seem to have forgotten. No matter what, we all want peace and love somewhere in our lifetimes!

friends in the Barn

When I drew this I was awaiting my first grandchild who we all thought was a girl so we started to fondly refer to it as baby "Lou-Lou. And I wanted to give these drawings to Baby Lou-Lou's mom to hang in her room.
Lo and behold, at 7 months we found out 'lil Lou-Lou is a
'lil buck-a-roo, with not even enough time to get started on a new set of drawings since our 'lil buck-roo arrived a wee bit too soon. He made a grand entrance on the first snow storm of the year, weighing very little and having a stay in the ICU.
Our 'lil Buck-a-roo, Kayson, fondly reminded me of God's 'lil miracles and the struggle even one so small has the courage and love to teach us who sometimes forget God has the magic touch.

Peace on Crazy Woman's Ranch

This is the name of our ranch we are planning to have. The name "Crazy Woman" came about because sometimes with life's stress and strife, I often wonder if I'm not going crazy myself. And I know Ken would have to agree that life sometimes can make me appear to be a bit off balance. So he hopes that I will find the long awaited for peace when we finally are able to have that ranch of our dreams.

Cowgirl with Her Lasso

This drawing reminds me of my daughter, Cowgirl Katie, born country, raised country. She is one of the few true cowgirls with her love and devotion to people of all walks of life and animals and her true strength to always stay on feet reminds me of a girl lassoing the world at her feet. No matter the hard knocks in life, there are so many women who are ready to lasso the world and ride lifes ups and downs.

This orignal drawing is for sale.

Grandma (the 1933 Model)

She is a 1933 model. Grandpa always says she looks smoking hot looking hanging over his fire.
I drew this from an old 2x3 glossy. If you are interested in having one of your pictures transformed to pencil art please let me know here. I charge $40.00 per drawing.
